Calmer coordination for families in two homes.
Northloop Labs builds thoughtful software that helps co-parents share schedules, handoffs, and expenses, clearly, kindly, and in one place.
It’s Home B’s weekend, with pickup on Friday at 4:00 PM. From the shared record:
School pickup: Friday
4:00 PM · Both homes can see it, neither has to ask.
Handoff confirmed
Weekend bag, medication, and the permission slip, checked off together.
Shared expense settled
Soccer registration split evenly, no screenshots, no chasing receipts.
A preview of the shared family record, answered through the Northloop connector. In private development.
What happened. Not how it felt.
The connector keeps a single evidentiary record of the case, built from the emails, messages, and documents you already hold, and kept in step with the live case file: parenting plan drafts, orders, and counsel correspondence. Entries are flat and first person. The medium of every fact is recorded. Nothing is ever deleted.
Flat. Evidentiary. In your voice.
Every entry states what happened, when it happened, and where it came from. No interpretation, no scoring, no spin.
- The medium of every fact is recorded: email, text, call log, calendar
- Entries written first person, in your own voice
- Kept aligned with the live case file as documents change
Both positions, checked against the documents.
When two parents remember things differently, the connector checks both accounts against the documents on file and reports what it finds, either way.
- Claims verified against the parenting plan, orders, and correspondence
- Reported even when the record does not support your position
- Disagreements shown as disagreements, never smoothed over
Privileged stays privileged.
Attorney-client material is tagged PRIVILEGED and excluded from anything the connector produces. And nothing is ever recorded: the evidence is the written record you already have.
- No audio recording, ever. Call history means time and duration only
- PRIVILEGED material never appears in summaries or productions
- Nothing is deleted. Corrections are appended, not overwritten
Connected to the assistant you already use.
Our connector is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard that lets AI assistants work with your tools. Ask a question in plain language. The answer comes from your shared family record, not from memory or guesswork.
You ask
“Whose weekend is it, and what does the bag need?” Asked the way you’d ask a person.
Northloop connector
Reads the shared calendar, handoffs, and expenses, with permission, and only what you’ve shared.
You get an answer
“It’s Home B’s weekend. Pickup is Friday at 4, and the soccer kit still needs washing.”
Designed to feel safe.
Software for separated families carries a responsibility most software never faces. These are the rules we build by.
Safety first, always
Every feature is reviewed against one question: could this make a hard situation harder? Location is never shared by default, contact stays inside the product, and either parent can pause sharing at any time.
Neutral by design
The product takes no side. Language is plain and even-handed, records are identical for both parents, and nothing is ranked, scored, or framed as winning and losing.
Private by architecture
Family data is sensitive data. We collect the minimum needed to coordinate, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and never sell it or use it for advertising. Ever.
Kids at the center
The measure of every decision is whether life gets calmer and more predictable for the children moving between two homes. If it doesn’t help them, it doesn’t ship.
Co-parenting is hard. Your messages don’t have to be.
The record comes first. These tools layer on top of it, and every one of them feeds it: a message you checked, a rewrite you chose, an expense you logged, all kept in the same evidentiary form.
The message tools
Check before you send
Paste in any message before it goes out. The connector flags anything that could read as hostile, sarcastic, or likely to start an argument, and tells you whether your tone comes across as calm, neutral, or heated. It’s the pause button you wish you had at 11 p.m., and the check itself becomes part of the record.
Rewrite with confidence
Turn a heated message into one that is short, clear, and focused on your child. You keep your point and your boundaries; the rewrite takes out only what could hurt you later. Every rewrite comes with a note on what changed and why, and both versions stay in the record.
Stand your ground
Calm doesn’t mean giving in. The connector will never coach you to give up your rights just to keep the peace. If you tend to back down to avoid conflict, it helps you say what you mean, kindly and firmly.
Safety comes first
If a message mentions danger or abuse, the check stops and points you to real help, right away.
Built for your state
Tell the connector where you live and the guidance follows your state’s rules. Starting with Florida, with more states on the way.
